More Outdoor Inspiration

I just wanted to thank everyone for the lovely comments you made on my patio project update.  I'm always hesitant to post photos of my own house because it IS so personal and you know that you are putting yourself out into the blogesphere to be judged in one form or another.  I also realize that I am not one of those fortunate people who can spend thousands of dollars at a time and have instant design success.  My process is a bit more realistic in terms of economic times.  I'm a long way from finished but as I tell my clients (and myself often), "Its not about having the most, its about making the most of what you have".
One of the sweetest comments came from Luciane at HomeBunch.com
who reminded me to take pride in what we've already done.  Thank you, sweet friend for the reminder that we should all take to heart.

That said, here's a bit more outdoor inspiration to keep us all dreaming of warm days and cool lemonade:
I ADORE that fire pit.  Is it weird that I'm craving smores right now?

Love the mix of the traditional and contemporary

A taste of India in your own backyard?  Yes please.

Love the use of the plants as a backdrop here.  So secluded and rich.

I think this is my favorite and closest to what I'm hoping to achieve for my own space.
So lovely and elegant but it still begs you to kick off your shoes and curl up for a while.
(all photos came from Decor Pad)

I know several of you commented you were working on your outdoor spaces.
Send me your progress photos and I'll post them here next week!
I think it would be so great to see what everyone is working on!

Have a lovely day.
